Below you can find out 5 different methods long does it take to charge an iphone,

Method 1 – Time To Charge: Iphone 12

Hey guys jack here welcome back to the channel hope youre doing well today we have another times charge video. With the iphone 12 so as usual ive run the battery all the way down to zero thats a 2815. Milliamp hour battery and were going to go ahead plug it in checking back every 15 minutes until its fully. Charged to see how long it takes and i would say were using the original charger but since you dont.

Get one in the box were going to go ahead use the fast charger that you can buy separately so. Im going to go ahead plug it in and well check back in 15 minutes if you want some links. To fast chargers ill leave some down below so you can check them out well go ahead leave it for. 15 minutes and see how much charge its got all right so its been 15 minutes and the iphone 12. Is already on 31 so it looks like were easily going to hit that 50 in 30 minutes probably closer.

To 60 percent so thats good to see and this should be the same for the iphone 12 pro as. Well since it has the exact same battery size and obviously you would hope that the iphone 12 mini would. Be slightly less time in total and the 12 pro max would be slightly longer again with the bigger battery. So well check back once its been half an hour and see how the iphone 12 is getting on so. Now were checking in at 30 minutes and the iphone 12 is at 59 so weve just about nearly hit.

That 60 mark so well above 50 in 50 minutes which is very good to see so well give it. Another 15 minutes and see how its getting on then well probably start see it slow down at about 80. As it tries to protect the battery from charging too quickly all right so its been another 15 minutes taking. Us to 45 and were now at 79 so you can see there were still getting that 29 30 percent. Every 15 minutes so really fast and we will start slow down now that weve hit around 80 percent in.

Order to protect that battery but its good to know if youre back home for 15 30 minutes you can. Get up to 60 charge if youre in that zero to 80 range but well check back once its been. A full hour of charging so weve just hit one hour of charging and the iphone 12 is at 88. So you can see there we have dropped down from that 30 percent every 15 minutes which is about two. Percent a minute to just under 10 so really slowing down and we could see this go on past an.

Hour and a half at this rate so well check back once its been another 15 minutes so thats another. 15 minutes taking us to one hour 15 minutes of charging and the iphone 12 is at 95 percent so. We might just see it get to 100 in an hour and a half but i have seen that last. One or two percent take a lot longer five ten minutes so well just see how long it takes in. Total okay so we just hit 100 on the iphone 12 we can see there 100 and it took about.

An hour and 38 minutes in total so i waited an extra eight minutes over the 15 minutes we normally. Check just so we can get to that hundred percent and you can see that in total the first 80. Does charge very quickly youre getting about 30 every 15 minutes but then after that 80 mark you really start. To slow down so you can see just how quick it charges that first bit and then to protect the. Battery it slows down so if youre at home you need that top up you can get that 30 in.

15 minutes but trying to get all the way up to 100 does take a rather long time with that. One two percent at the very end taking upwards of 10 minutes to get there so i had one hour. 38 minutes to charge in total and that should be the same for the iphone 12 pro as well if. You guys found this video useful or enjoyable do please hit that like button down below really helps out the. Channel if you have any questions on the iphone 12 in general post the comment and ill get back to.

You as soon as possible and if you havent already subscribed hit that subscribe button on the right there and. Ill see you guys in the next video have a great day.

Method 2 – How Long Does It Take To Charge The Iphone 7 From 0% To 100% ? (Spoiler) Too Dam Long 👎

Hey whats going on everybody paul tech here and i got by brand new iphone 7 so this device is. Completely dead so were going to do a battery charging test on this device i have the timer right here. So im going to go ahead and use the standard wall adapter that comes with the iphone 7 in the. Box and im going to plug it in and were going to time and see how long it does take.

To charge the iphone 7 here so i started the timer it is plugged in again my iphone 7 is. Completely dead so it should power on in just a couple moments from being plugged in now but i know. Im definitely curious and others people out there that are wondering you know with such a small milliamp of a. Battery how long does it take to charge up this device but were going to find out so here we. Go it is powering on you can see the apple logo on the display right there so lets see there.

It goes it has powered on now so it should be a pretty interesting test again with a small battery. Like this you wouldnt think its going to take too much time to charge but were going to find out. Okay so the iphone have turned on it is at 3% battery life now 3% so it is allowing me. To get access to the passcode and its been about one minute in so one minute its at 3% right. Now okay so lets go ahead and check it we are at okay so lets go ahead and check were.

At 14 minutes and it is at 15% charge 40 minutes 15 percent charged here alright lets go ahead and. Check the time in 32 minutes and the iphone 7 is at 31% charged in 32 minutes now so okay. We continue charging this continue with the timer and see how long it does take this bully chart ok its. Been 1 hour of charging the iphone 7 that we are at 55% right now alright so we are at. 75% charge on the iphone 7 and looks like its been one hour and 24 minutes lets double check the.

Clock yes one hour 24 minutes and 75% charged here so were going to continue charging the iphone 7 keeping. The timer going to see how long it takes to get to 100% okay one hour 51 minutes in and. We are at 93% with 93% in one hour and 51 minutes okay its been over two hours now two. Hours and ten minutes the iphone 7 has been charging two hours and ten minutes lets see where were at. We have to go a little bit closer as we can see so we are at 98% so 98% is.

Where the iphone 7 is at after already charging it for over two hours so two hours 11 minutes and. Well start were still not quite at a hundred percent so ninety-eight percent charge so were going to continue charging. This because we want to see how long it takes from zero to get to a hundred percent okay lets. See 99 percent and its been two hours and 18 minutes okay i got to be honest with you for. A phone with a 1960 milliamp battery this is a very long charging time in my opinion i mean over.

Two hours and its at 99 percent charge okay there we just hit 100% just hit 100% at two hours. 18 minutes in thats how long it takes to charge the iphone 7 1960 milliamp battery to me thats pretty. Method 3 – How To Properly Charge Your Iphone (New 2021)

Hey guys i device help here welcome back to the channel today i want to share a few tips on. How to properly charge your iphone on the latest os now in this video i also want to talk about. A few common misperceptions that could impact the battery or your iphone good or bad so lets just dive right. In now the first thing i want to talk about is misperceptions or missed for example the app switcher here.

You see all these applications are open in the background theres a common misperception that if i leave these apps. Open in the background the battery of the iphone would actually drain faster and that is entirely false its actually. The opposite so for example heres safari with apple.com loaded if i open the app you see it goes right. Into safari right into the website without having to reload the entire website right here if i go to the. App switcher here and close safari out or quit safari when i go back it actually reloads the entire page.

What that means it is used in resources therefore it drains the battery a lot quicker so if you go. Through your app switcher and just close all applications out every time you use them youre actually doing the wrong. Thing because this is actually going to force your iphone to re-initiate the entire process of the application having to. Reload all the content and therefore using resources and actually draining the battery slightly quicker so yeah you can leave. Your apps open in the background i know a lot of users prefer to close them out but it isnt.

Really doing any good when you close them out another thing i want to talk about is charging when you. Leave your iphone charging overnight is that an issue yes or no should i unplug my iphone once its done. Charging to 100 the answer to that is you can leave your iphone charging all night without any problem ios. Is designed to recognize when your iphone has reached a hundred percent and then it stops charging now throughout the. Night during standby time if it drops one percent your iphone will reinitiate the charging and then once it reaches.

100 it stops once again it doesnt just continue sending charge ios is not designed that way if that was. The case every single iphone will be fried so yeah the power source just stops once it reaches 100 so. You can leave your iphone plugged overnight without any issues and well talk about optimized battery charging a little further. Down the road in this video as well now another common misperception or another common use ive seen from some. Users is once the iphone reaches 100 pick it up and enable low power mode is that any good should.

You use low power mode at all times on your iphone now the answer to that it isnt good but. It isnt bad now the reason i say that is because you can get slightly better battery performance out of. Your iphone overall but you lose out on performance low power mode is designed to throttle your iphone downs performance. It slows it down a little bit network performance could decrease in order to push through that last 20 or. 10 percent of the battery of your iphone so it slows down your iphone pretty much entirely with the performance.

The network and everything else in between so youre not really damaging the battery youre actually getting slightly better battery. But youre also losing out on entire performance of your device so if you use your iphone to only just. Quickly glance at social media and things like that youre not doing a big impact but if youre watching videos. Using the network a lot youre just going to lose out on performance so next i want to talk about. A wireless charging and theres a few questions that i always get with wireless charging number one is it common.

For the iphone to get slightly warmer with wireless charging than what it does when youre plugged into wire and. The answer to that is yes it is most common for the iphone to get slightly warmer when youre using. Wireless charging than if you were using the wire so thats okay now if it gets extremely hot then thats. Not normal but warmer to the touch than if you were to plug it in that is entirely normal another. Thing you may want to do is if you go to wirelessly charge your iphone if you dont have a.

Case thats designed for wireless charging you may want to remove it for example this one that i have here. Isnt necessarily built for wireless charging so i like to take it off my iphone every time i go to. Use wireless charging or magsafe at all because it isnt designed for wireless charging wireless charging as we talked about. Gets slightly warmer to the touch your iphone gets slightly warmer and therefore you dont want to use a case. That would actually make it even warmer because that could impact the battery in a negative way by creating heat.

And heat is a big enemy of wireless charging or batteries in general so you may want to get away. From any case that isnt built for wireless charging if you have apples magsafe case those are designed for wireless. Charging but something plastic like this one that i have here which isnt designed for wireless charging you may want. To remove it because it will create extra heat which is an enemy of the battery of your iphone so. Yeah wireless charging is slightly slower it heats up your iphone slightly more than if you were using the wire.

And if you have any case with wireless charging that isnt compatible for wireless charging you may want to remove. It before you drop it onto the magsafe or any wireless charger for that mat and last but not least. Were going to talk about a wire charging now when you go to wire charge your iphone is always recommended. To use the apple cable and the apple brick of course these are specifically tailored and designed to charge your. Iphone to the best of its capabilities and the fast charging from apples fast charger will actually fast charge your.

Iphone the best than any other charger because it is coming from apple it is designed to work with your. Iphone the best way now that doesnt mean that you cant use a third-party charger you can definitely use a. Third-party charger but if you dont have one handy always at least try to carry your cable with you so. If you use a third-party brick to charge your iphone at least have the apple cable that comes with your. Iphone when you go to plug it in in case that charger doesnt support proper voltage for your iphone youll.

Get this message right here accessory not supported so if you have the cable the cable is smart enough it. Is mfi approved of course which is apples cable and it will recognize that the brick that youre using isnt. Proper to charge your iphone or if it could damage the actual battery of your iphone or anything at all. So always if you dont have the brake at least try to have the cable with you if youre traveling. To charge your iphone and obviously wirelessly its a lot slower than wire charging so use the wire charger if.

You want faster speeds now another thing that i want to talk about is optimize battery charging here under the. Battery option so if we go to battery health here we have the optimized battery charging option now this feature. I highly recommend using at all times now what this feature will do it will charge your iphone to 80. Until youre ready to pick it up and then it will charge that extra 20 right before you pick it. Up to use it every day so for example if you go to bed on your routine lets say you.

Go from 10 p.m to 6 a.m the iphone will stop charging at around 4 a.m and leave it around. 80 percent and then right before you wake up it can measure the time that it takes to charge that. Extra 20 before you pick it up in the morning and then it will completely charge the entire phone therefore. Creating less stress on the battery so optimized battery charging definitely an amazing feature that apple has created but anyway. That is everything that i wanted to share with you guys make sure you always use apple bricks if you.

Dont have your apple brick handy make sure you bring your cable with you wireless charging does get a little. Warmer than wire charging that is definitely true dont go quitting all your applications in the background it doesnt really. Impact the battery much in a positive way and there you guys have it that above brings an end to. This video let me know any of your personal recommendations in the comments down below i would like to hear. From you thank you for watching and ill see you on the next one peace.

Method 4 – Iphone X

Hey whats up guys so you have a iphone 10 10s 10s max even the iphone 11s and you have. An issue where you plug your phone in mine mines been here plugged in for four hours and it should. Turn on automatically okay if your phone is dead and you plug it in typically like maybe no more than. 10 minutes it should itll boot back up by itself as soon as it hits three percent okay anyways four.

Hours now still nothing if i press and hold this power button still nothing now let me just show you. Really quickly so right now i mean i know its charging if i pull this cable out now this means. That its not charging and it needs a charge okay so if i go ahead and just plug it back. In this means its charging okay and im still getting nothing so so the first thing what were going to. Do here is while its plugged in and its charging what were going to do is were going to force.

It restart while it is connected while its charging okay so how you do that its a three key uh. Press combination its going to be the volume up volume down and then press and hold this power button and. Do not let go until we see an apple logo so lets see if this works okay ready volume up. Volume down press and hold the power button do not let go im going to continue to hold here until. I see a apple logo pop up i dont think its going to pop up but lets see here going.

To keep on holding okay so right about now the apple logo should have appeared so if theres still 30. Seconds and no apple logo go ahead and let go so now im suspecting is either my cable here or. Its the wall adapter or the actual wall socket so what im going to do now is im just going. To go ahead and just totally change cables and im going to go directly to usb on my laptop right. Here so let me go ahead and pop this in okay make sure its charging now what im going to.

Do is im going to wait 10 minutes okay now after 10 minutes by 10 minutes it should automatically turn. On like i said these iphones usually when it hits about three percent itll automatically turn on so im going. To go ahead and leave it here for 10 minutes im going to come back here and see if its. On if its not going to force restart if its still not working then were going to proceed to other. Possible solutions ill wait ill come back in 10 minutes okay guys so its been about 10 minutes now i.

Thought my phone would have automatically booted up but it didnt so next thing we want to do is we. Want to try to force restart it again okay remember volume up volume down press and hold the power button. While it is charging okay so lets do it together ready volume up volume down press and hold that power. Button do not let go that power button until we see that apple logo gonna hold it for i mean. No more than 30 seconds hopefully i get apple logo on here if not then i have to go to.

The next possible solution still holding here still holding okay its uh its still down okay so this is what. Were gonna do next so what im gonna do is im just gonna go ahead and unplug this right here. And then what im gonna do is im gonna get a new cable i mean i really think is the. Cable so it could have been this could have been a bad cable this could have been a bad cable. It also possibly could have been my usb port on my laptop as well but anyway were going to go.

Ahead and do something else now let me get another cable here and im going to go and plug this. One into a surge protector and then were going to go ahead and wait 10 minutes again and then see. What happens so im going to go ahead and plug it in here and then were going to make sure. That its charging as you can see it is charging now let me wait 10 minutes and hopefully my phone. Boots back up if not were gonna have to force restart it again lets see okay so i only waited.

Four minutes guys and what do you know its up and running okay now the issue that i had i. Mean i think it was it could have been both of the other cables that i was using or it. Could have been one of the other wall outlets i used or it could have even been the wall adapter. As well so you just guys just have to troubleshoot okay now if it was still down uh next thing. I would have did was i would have forced restarted again okay and sometimes thatll actually boot it back up.

As well anyway my phones back up good luck guys.
