In this guide, we will show you everything you need to know about how to 3d photo, so keep reading!

Below you can find out 5 different methods to 3d photo,

Method 1 – How To Do The 3D Photo Trend On Tiktok (Capcut 3D Zoom Effect)

Hey yall this is grace from kapung and today im going to show you how to make pictures look 3d. According to a trend that is going around on tiktok where all you need is your phone and the app. Cap cut lets jump into it okay so to get started youll first need the app called cap cut you. Can just find this in the app store once you download it open the app and click new project and.

For this trend the way that most people have been doing it is you upload 11 photos and time them. Out to a sound that is used click add in the bottom right corner and they will come into the. Editor now to time it out to the music for the trend you want to trim each of the first. Four photos down to 0.5 seconds each and then the ladder 7 photos will be 0.3 seconds each to do. That you can just click the photo and drag the ends of it down so go ahead and do this.

For each of the photos once your photos are timed out then you can add the zoom effect that you. See and what makes this trend distinct to do that you click each photo and then go to the bottom. Bar and scroll over and there should be a button that says style click that button and then choose the. 3d zoom option and it will do this thing where its like adding the effect to your photo and then. You can preview it and it should look like its zooming in a little bit and moving the photo while.

Also changing the perspective to make it look 3d so add that effect to each of the photos by clicking. And then adding the 3d zoom and after you add the styling to all your photos it should look something. Like this where its changing perspective for each of them now in terms of the audio you can either add. This in tik tok when youre actually uploading the video or if youre not going to post it on tick. Tock we have a sound file that you can just download that is the exact song used for this trend.

Its the first link in the description below so just click that follow these steps to download it and save. It to your camera roll in cap cut you can go to the audio click extracted and then choose the. Video that you just downloaded the video file and click import sound only at the bottom that way only the. Sound will be added to your video then youll have the sound there make sure to line it up another. Thing is cap cut automatically adds this little clip at the end that says cap cut if you want to.

Get rid of that just literally click it and then click the delete button and that will be gone and. Then once you are ready to get your video to post somewhere else just click the top right corner with. That little export button and your video will export it will be in your camera then click done if you. Are going to post it to tick tock just head to tick tock you can find the sound for this. Trend by searching 3d photo trend and then going to one of the top results clicking the top bottom right.

Corner to go to the actual sound and click use this sound at the bottom now for the first few. Seconds as i said you have some time to just do something look around have text on the screen and. Then once it starts once the beat starts hitting then thats when you can add in the actual video that. You just made so im going to do that here so after that first clip then go to the effects. In the bottom left corner and click the green screen video effect which is like a play button with an.

Arrow going up and that will allow you to put a video behind you so im going to click the. Video i just made click next and you can see now the video is behind me im going to just. Move my camera so im out of the frame and then hold down to record this bit you can add. Your text and then post your video as normal and this is what my final video looked like if you. Still have any questions or thoughts leave them in the comments below and if you were interested in more photo.

Method 2 – How To Make Easy 3D Photographs Stereoscope Tutorial

What is happening guys today im going to be showing you an editing tutorial of how i did this thing. Right here okay now these are called stereo scopes and if you dont know what a stereoscope is its a. Fancy term for basically like 3d images also known as gifs and they just go back and forth its a. Really cool effect i think the artists muramasa i used them for his album cover which is kind of how.

It got popular and now its been a super huge trend in like street wear and fashion photography and the. Reason i had to learn to do this was because a dance company at school was wanting to use stereo. Scopes for their next publicity for their upcoming show and so i was looking at tutorials online trying to figure. Out how to do this and there were so many videos that were just complex unnecessary steps when in reality. Its not hard at all ill show you the fastest and most efficient way to do it because i have.

To do at least 30 of them within a week or so alright if you guys want me to do. More tutorials please drop a comment down below subscribe for more photography videos and yeah lets just jump right into. It all right so right now i am editing on a macbook pro 15 inch with the touch bar this. Is the newest space great version and its been a really great laptop for editing purposes and for what were. Gonna be doing today okay so first off before the editing process even begins theres a very specific way you.

Have to take the picture in camera in order to get the specific effect now there are a couple cameras. Out there theyre a little bit more vintage or very expensive in the thousand dollar range that have three separate. Lenses which will take three sequential photos and it gives it that stereoscopic effect when in reality all you have. To do is grab a camera grab a camera right if youre shooting portraits and landscapes it doesnt really matter. And then we did this literally dozens of times and it took a while to get it the exact way.

That we wanted trial and error but we found that the best way to do it was with a fast. Shutter speed youre gonna shoot click click click now the most important thing is you have to keep your x. And your y axis very stable as you take the picture because afterwards when you edit youre gonna have to. Be layering it and if the photos are like this way or this way this way you know i mean. Like youre not gonna be able to get a smooth stereoscope use a fast shutter speed so that you dont.

Get any motion blur or camera shake in your photos and we found that the best way to do it. Was with the burst mode so youre gonna just and to be honest you dont even have to do just. Three photos what we found was that just going just with like 3 or 4 even 5 photos will give. You a little bit more options that you can choose the first three or the second third or the last. Third or whatever it is when you go into your editing program keep in mind that composition is still really.

Important your subject has to be super still cannot move at all or it will ruin effect and the biggest. Thing is that the subject should be following the lens with their eyes so as a camera moves youre gonna. Be looking at the camera each photos okay now that applications that youre going to need are pretty simple youre. Just going to lightroom photoshop and possibly after effects if you want to add a little bit more flair to. Your stereoscope so the first thing is when you go into lightroom like that these are all the photos that.

Were taken from the shoot we did a lot of group shots single shots things like that but then when. You come into this ill show you this is the first picture the second picture and the third picture see. How theres very little my new movements 1 2 3 1 and even when you go back and forth you. Can start to see the effect this ones a little bit better i also forgot to mention that the background. Of your photo is also very important usually when youre taking portraits you want to be using a low aperture.

But in order to get a depth of field that doesnt seem so blur it out you kind of want. To use a higher aperture something around like f4 or f3 point 5 so that the background is still visible. From your subject your subject also cant be too close to whatever the background it is so something like this. Works really well because the fence is still far away from the subject so i didnt mention you want to. Keep your camera super steady on the x and y axis but you see here there is a little bit.

Of movement just between the photos which is okay because you can fix that in photoshop so once you have. All your photos edited were gonna go into photoshop now let me show you what the final product is going. To look like and this is all done in photoshop no app defects or anything like that so now youre. Gonna take your three photos we recommend three or four three actually works decently and then import them into photoshop. Now you click check on the first photo and then your second photo is gonna appear right on top now.

The important part is youre gonna go to your opacity and drop it down to somewhere around like 30 35. % zoom in just a little bit so you can see it a little bit better but since we dropped. Down the opacity you can see that the second layer on top of the first layer and what you want. To do is match it up as closely as you can so so what i found was that the eyes. Are kind of the easiest to line up so something like that press okay and then once again youre gonna.

Have to change your opacity to the same thing for your third layer and just layer it on top boom. Its kind of a sloppy job but see how the subjects face is still all in the same exact spot. But the background is whats moving and thats the most important thing now to give you a better idea of. How you can do it and utilize it to your own workflow and whatever project youre going to be using. On essentially the idea is that each image is going to be a single frame in an image which meaning.

That the first image is only gonna be 0.2 seconds the second is going to be 0.2 seconds the third. And so on and so forth and what it does is it goes 1 2 3 2 1 and it. Just loops that so goes just like that now youre going to click this one right here which is gonna. Duplicate your second screen frame and then its the same exact thing so right now the only the first layer. Is visible but youre gonna click the eyeball here and then just switch it to your third one and then.

Duplicate that again and then change it to your third one and then turn the second one off and then. Duplicate once more and this ones gonna be back to the second one and since photoshop is automatically gonna make. An image sequence its going to go back and forth so you dont have to repeat the first one so. When you press play it looks something like this now that looks okay for now and the reason this stereoscope. Itself works pretty well is that the background is really isolated from the subject and being on that corner it.

Gives it a little bit more of depth of field okay so now that youve adjusted the layers youre gonna. Press e on your keyboard and then just crop off the white edges so that you get a little bit. Of cleaner image just do that for each one now down here youll see a drop down menu which indicates. Your frame delay time meaning how much time is gonna be separated between the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th photo. Ok after much trial and error i found that point 2 is generally a good place to start and then.

From there you can tweak it depending on how fast your camera was actually rotating while youre taking the photo. A how smooth you want the image to be if you want it to be a really glitchy effect or. More of a slow shutter effect then you can change it based on your preferences and then this menu right. Here youre just gonna click forever so that it just keeps looping like a jiff now in order to export. It the way i did it was go to your drop-down menu and then click save for web meaning thats.

Gonna create it into a jiff and then right here you have the option to do that and basically just. Click done and it will render out a jiff for you if you are using this for a video then. Youre gonna have to export it as a video file as something like an mp4 or mov file ok so. Once again youre just gonna drop your first picture in second one youre gonna drop down the opacity zoom in. Match up the eyes as best as you can click okay third one drop down the opacity again and then.

Change all your opacity back to 100 now if you dont see the timeline at the bottom what you have. To do is go into window and then press timeline and it should make a sequence for you change this. To something like 0.2 seconds duplicate now if you find that your stereoscope isnt working the problem might be that. All of your layers are visible so once again deselect all of them except the first layer and then make. Sure that theyre also ordered correctly so check your file number so you want to go nine five six three.

Six four six five so that they went in that sequential order and then duplicate this once again check to. Your second frame duplicate it again third frame second frame and boom once again just crop off the excess white. In your photos and boom you have a really nice simple jiff now for the publicity shoots in order to. Get the show name the dance company the dates and times and things like that we did use after effects. To add those extra layers on have the real going to the art ee l re al switching back and.

Forth that was really simple but for most of you guys purposes you probably wont need that much in depth. You just want to make a simple stereoscope so there is that and the reason we edited the photos this. Way was that stereo scopes are a little bit more grunge retro vintage so you want that grainy aesthetic so. I edited these in lightroom added a little bit of grain and thats what you have there alright that about. Wraps it up for this tutorial i hope this was a quick and simple easy way to show you guys.

How to do the stereoscope because theyre super cool effect when use with any type of photo project that you. Can think this you got next you.

Method 3 – How To… 3D Grayscale

So whats going on guys and girls uh today i wanted to cover 3d engraving or 3d relief or also. Grayscale engraving and basically what what the machine is doing is its going to be fluctuating the power based on. The the scales of gray so from white to black its going to be adjusting the intensity of the power. In order to get different depths into wood acrylic and other types of soft material where basically the material can.

Be removed at different rates based on the power so the first thing that you really need to do is. Find an stl file or a grayscale image that will be conducive to to doing this type of work and. Ill show you what i typically look for and ive seen one going around the internet um and its a. Bee with some honeycomb in the back so im going to do an stl grayscale and b and were going. To see what this pops up and i do believe that it is this one right here that is being.

Spread around a little bit so 570 by 570 is good but i would like to see if i could. Find a little bit better one maybe if we use our tools size and large we might be able to. Find a little bit larger one and if we cant we cant if not then i will try to up. The resolution a little bit in photoshop lets go back and just do a quick little search here okay so. Thats the best were gonna get um so theres the same one at a different angle thats a pretty cool.

One but well do the one that ive seen floating around so im going to download this save image to. Downloads and then im going to open it in photoshop real quick downloads open with photoshop so typically with these. You dont need to do a lot of editing uh were not going to be removing the background um you. Dont need to really mess around with the adjustments as far as brightness and contrast um you can if you. Would like to just to give it a little bit more depth or just to clean it up a little.

Bit but typically i dont i dont really mess around with that i kind of like the way these things. Are shaded to begin with i will increase the sharpness and then also the size so i will go to. Sharpen smart sharpen this way we get a little bit more edge detail we dont want to go too crazy. With it because it will kind of change the way the grayscale mapping is is going to create come some. Lighter spots and and that is okay so at this point i would just do my image size um were.

Going to try to do this a 4×4 and then the resolution im going to bring it up to 400. Dpi and thatll thatll make it a lot larger and this way lightburn has some more information to uh to. Really get that grayscale depth mapping going file well export it as a png and click there this is going. To be our b 3d and save okay so now we can bring that photo into lightburn and then were. Going to set up the grayscale in lightburn by double clicking on our image layer and then going over to.

Lets see we have it set as gray hold on and back out of here real quick make that black. Now depending on your machine and your lens youre going to need to know how many dpi you can run. To your machine im going to run this with a 1.5 inch lens on a 100 watt machine so im. Probably gonna going to keep it closer to 300 dpi im also going to select grayscale and what grayscale is. Doing on the co2 laser is like i said earlier its going to basically take the maps of gray so.

Over here in the corner where we have really really dark shading the power our max power will be used. The areas that are really light like along this branch here and these leave tops thats going to use the. Min power and everything else in between is fluctuated between your settings of your max power and your min power. So if we go back into our image and we put lets uh lets do 26 for our max power. And knowing where your min power threshold is and by that what i mean is your turn on point of.

Your laser um what at what level of power does your laser turn on now you want it to either. Just barely turn on or or not turn on at all this way it isnt engraving some of the lighter. Areas so i know mine on my thunder laser is somewhere right around six uh six to eight depending on. My process that im using so im going to actually pick uh seven right in between okay and then we. Have our line interval is all set so dpi line interval same thing my scan angle on this one really.

Doesnt matter sometimes i like the scan angle to be 180 so it starts on the top and i can. See faces and eyes first and if im im messing up i can basically stop and readjust and we have. Their grayscale on and its going to go on some wood so i will unclick the negative image now if. You do a negative image then obviously its going to be on either acrylic or something like that where you. Want the lights to be engraved using the max power so itd be flip flopping your max and min youre.

Not changing your max and min but the reference to those settings on the photo is whats going to change. The other thing to think about before you start doing this is what youre putting it on um obviously we. Just discussed the negative image and acrylic but um typically a lot of people are putting stuff like this on. On wood um the three-dimensional does work well on on thicker acrylics with multiple passes to keep it nice and. Clean you cant go to the extreme on one shot um you cant use a really really high power and.

Um expect it to be really clean i i recommend on acrylics if youre doing something like this a grayscale. Engraving to take it easy and and basically do multiple layers or multiple passes to achieve a higher quality image. So the materials that were using if were doing just something on wood we would have our negative unselected because. We want the max power to be all of these darker parts you need to pay attention to the types. Of wood that youre using mdf will work good and thats just press board other softer woods that dont have.

A lot of grain because you are trying to get different depths and if you have a lot of grain. In your in your wood then thats going to screw up the entire image because the grain is going to. Show up sometimes more so than the actual image so weve processed the photo we have it all set in. Light burn lets take it out to the machine and and plug it in and let it run and see. What we end up with okay guys so what i did was i ended up increasing the size of that.

To five by five uh i wanted to take advantage of the uh the size of the material that i. Have also if youve watched my videos before on on photos you know speed is of importance so for grayscale. Grayscale is pretty hard on the machine its keeping the the tube on the entire time as as opposed to. A dither where its pulsing the tube to make the dots the tube is on the entire time and fluctuating. Power as it moves along so youre going to want to go pretty slow im going at a 10 inches.

Per second on grayscale im usually right in between 8 inches per second and 12. I usually dont go any. Higher than that im asking a lot of the machine to be able to vary that that power as its. Moving along and i want better quality the slower i go the better chance i have of having that translate. From the the computer or the information going to the actual laser tube so you can go too slow and.

Ive noticed that i get some curtaining where you have vertical lines and thats just something to be aware of. If you do get vertical lines um it could be a machine or a mechanical issue but it can also. Be a speed issue and lets uh lets do a little bit time lapse here and well show you what. It looks like when were done okay guys so its coming out really good um i can tell that there. Is depth to it i can see some of the edges and if i go to sanded its going to.

Pull away most of those high those high areas and leave deeper areas dark but what im going to do. Is i think i went a little low on the power so im going to run it a second time. With a little bit more power and then well sand it and well see what we get so while thats. Running in the background i just wanted to go over these images are really really hard to tell how good. They are with a photo or a video so when you go to show customers your work or um or.

Promote it online its really really hard to tell the depth that these actually create im going to try to. Get down low and try to see if its visible but theres theres a good amount of depth in there. Especially on that edge you can see and maybe right there you can see a little bit better and this. Is on mdf so mdf works really well to basically a proof of concept that that the three-dimensional engrave works. And uh if you go with a thinner mdf its relatively inexpensive to do testing on and and you can.

Really show what your work will do and what the machine can do with some of this three-dimensional engrave all. Right so i kept my minimum power at seven uh we are keeping or actually weve changed the max power. To 38 on 100 watts so well see what thats gonna get us im gonna im gonna guess theres gonna. Be a lot more depth i could already see on that back line the amount of depth that it is. Creating so once thats done well uh well sand it and show you exactly what it looks like okay so.

It just finished up with the second run with a little bit more power and typically i would air blow. Off some of the debris thats on there im just gonna wipe it down real quick and then im going. To lightly sand it and you know use an orbital sander one of these sanders will work just fine light. Grit low speed and just lightly go over it and there you have it from different directions youre gonna get. A little bit different view well it looks pretty cool ill show you on the other side versions of some.

That i went a little bit deeper on again hard to tell the depth on some of these but you. Can really really get creative and do some really good quality this one came out really cool now not only. Can you use these stl files as a grayscale but you can also use them as a half tone or. A dither and heres the result that you end up with that so if you run it as a half. Tone or a dither like a jarvis pattern this is what youre gonna get and there is zero depth to.

This it is all shading and let me tell you it is impressive um it looks three-dimensional but it is. Not so this is all something that you could do with these files and just you know tweaking tweaking the. Settings ever so slightly flip it over theres another cool one on the other side so you can get the. Illusion of 3d on wood and other materials using these stl files or grayscale cnc files with a half tone. Or with a jarvis dither but i hope that helps some of you guys create some really cool pieces and.

Make sure you tag me in them because i want to see them dont forget to like and subscribe and. Well see you on the next video you.

Method 4 – How To Register A 3D Photo To The Lenticular Lens

Well if you got this far that means you know how to do 3d pictures and how to make the. Lenticular finished image which is the combination of ten frames ill put into one photograph now you might not be. Able to see it ill get a close-up on it but there are lines along the edges and the top. That is your registration lines thats how youre going to put the lens which is here onto the picture and.

Line it up so that you get the right 3d depth okay so first of all i want to talk. About the lens here this is a portrait lens since this is a portrait picture and the way you can. Tell is that the lines always run vertical so if youre going to order this you would order an 8. By 10 8 by 10 if youre doing a landscape it would come this way the lines would still run. Verticals which is order a 10 by 8 so thats the way they factor in the sizes and the lines.

Always have to be vertical you cannot put this on a landscape you will get no 3d whatsoever so anyway. What i want to show you is how to register the lens to the picture now this is a this. Is a clip more closer picture if i tilt it up like this can you sit better heres your registrations. Lines now on the software you can have as many lines as you want as you need when you first. Start out youre going to want more lines because youre learning how to do this i only use two lights.

Or no lines ok so right now this has got i think five lines in it so its going to. Be a little bit easier to register when you first start out to have more registration lines what im going. To do is im going to attach this lens to this picture one thing keep in mind – youll notice. Or you probably already noticed this but the final print is blurry because of all these lines is the same. As if you were watching a 3d in a movie theater .
